We wish you a Merry Christmas!

As Kembrie so sweetly would say, "I would like a Swan Palace this year".
She must have been a good girl because that is exactly what she got.
She loves to play with things that have little pieces, and trust me this
palace has plenty of little people, little food, little chairs, little horses, etc.
Santa delivered lots of toys to our house this year.
Among the favorite was the Nerf turbo blaster for Brexten.
I actually was a little nervous for too much rough housing,
but Brexten is pretty good to shoot the target he also got.
It's Bryan who likes to get carried away with other people.
All ready to crawl into bed on Christmas Eve Night.
Kembrie, Brexten and cousin Abbie.
All dressed up for Christmas Sunday. I absolutely loved red this year
as you can tell, but Brexten and Kembrie didn't mind.
Our annual pose in front of the Christmas tree.

This year for Christmas Grandma Vivi came over and made
the cutest Gingerbread House with the kids while Mom & Dad
went out to our own Christmas Party with friends.
I think they did a great job! Although we did complain of bellyaches
from too much eating of the decorations.

Winter Wonderland

This year has been extremely cold, but there has been enough snow
to build a fabulous snowman that was even taller
than Brexten and Kembrie.
Bryan did a great job helping the kids roll the snow into huge balls
while I was creative enough to find whoppers, M&M's, a hat and scarf, and a real carrot nose.

Happy Halloween

What a warm Halloween we had this year. It was so great that the kids didn't have to cover their costumes with coats like always. You could actually see how scary our Bumblebee transformer was, and how lovely our sweet Cinderella looked. Bryan had a great time taking them around our neighboorhood and I loved carving pumpkins with them this year.

I love cousins, they love me, We are a Happy Family

Kembrie, Kenadee, Morgan, Ethan, & Brexten Thomas
Wow what cute kids the Thomas clan has. My kids always love playing
with their cousins. Brexten wants Ethan to come over to
our house about once a month and I am constantly explaining
why he can't because he lives in Arizona.
So when he comes to town, we make sure they get together
and have some buddy time, since they are completely
outnumbered with girls. Kenadee and Brexten Love to
play together, just the other day they were at Grandma Debbie's
and of course got her to take them up to the Clearfield
High track to race. However, since Brexten is just a wee bit
competitive and Kenadee won the race, he said that next time
she has to wear flip-flops. Although it would be ideal for KJ
to play with Morgie who is only 1 year younger,
she seems to try and keep up with the bigger kids.
They really do love their cousins.

We Play-Coach Soccer.

Our first official season in the AYSO of Syracuse and
Brexten is thrilled to be a star player on the
Green Giants team. Coached by none other than
his super sports enthusiast DAD!!
See how excited those star soccer players look, listening
intently to Coach Thomas' directions. Well at least some of them
are listening. Now the question of each game is
"Which goal is ours?"
The Green Giants were often known to score an extra
goal or two for the other team and actually cheer for them too.
What great team spirit! They really were adorable to watch.
I even chimed in and coached my very own game one Saturday
when Bryan had to miss out and work.

My What a Lovely Gown!

It is official. My little Kembrie turned 3 years old.
For the past 3 months we have been discussing her birthday
party and she really wanted to have a Cinderella party.

We sure did dress up, and so did everyone else.
Yes, and we did have a transformer at our Princess party.
That's what you get when your party is a few weeks before
halloween.

I made her a special little Cinderella doll cake that was
only big enough to feed the birthday princess.
I tried to match her dress the best I could, and I was quite proud that
after 5 years I can still pull off a cute cake (in less than 3 hours too).
Everyone else got pink sprinkle cupcakes.

One of Kembrie's favorite things to do this summer was blow bubbles
every chance she got. I couldn't resist this picture with
her princess hat on backwards. We always have a great time with KJ.

Happy Birthday Little Princess!

First Day of Kindergarten

Today was Brexten's First Day of Kindergarten and wow was he excited. Once we got all ready for school we went outside to snag some pictures and he would say "first day of kindergarten" instead of cheese for every shot. Although I thought I might be emotional when dropping him off, I didn't shed a tear. Mostly because we have both been looking forward to it, and also because now I could have a little break. Well not really because I do have Kembrie at home with me and we have definately outgrown naps, dang! I feel so blessed to have children and experience life with them even if that means having a fridge full of bedtime and potty sticker charts. How lucky I feel to have them.

It's Fabulous to be 30!

So I finally hit the big 30 and I feel fabulous! I have had a wonderful birthday month. It all started with a little challenge to run and half marathon with all my closest girlfriends. I finished my very first race ever when we all ran the Bear Lake half marathon in June. It was an amazing experience and I am so grateful to wonderful friends, and my IPod, who pushed me along the way. The first thing Bryan wanted to know when I was done, was would I run another one? and I said absolutely yes. It was that gratifying. When I got home my cute kids had drawn me a poster and got me some flowers. They were very interested in my medal! A few days later I celebrated my 30th Birthday. My cute husband made the most adorable candy gram poster with the kids and got me some fun games to play with my family. We had a great dinner at Olive Garden and my friend Cindi made a fabulous cake for me. It was a great day and I was especially glad to have spent it with my family.

Spring Break

Our Family Vacation to California!!

We had a great time in Disneyland again!! This time with Grandma Vivi, and all the Aunts and Uncles, including cousin Abbie. We watched the fireworks everynight from our Condo room.

Kembrie with her favorite princess from this trip, Ariel. She was so adorable everytime we saw a princess. She stopped at stared at them with awe. We stood in line for one hour to meet this cute red-headed princess and I was certainly wondering if it was worth it. There were no doubts once KJ's face lit up in a huge smile.

Me and Kembrie waiting in line for the biggest roller coaster she could ride in Toon Town, of course.

I insisted that my children get their very own personalized Mickey ears at our visit in
the Magical Kingdom. They really did wear them for some of the day.

Brex's favorite ride again was Splash Mountain!! We went on it several times.

Love those Ears, especially with their names.

Abbie and Kembrie at the pool. It wasn't that warm for a sunny California spring break, but we managed to get to the pool and hot tub as often as weather permitted.

Brexten, Kembrie and Abbie.

Happy Holidays

Since we now have our very own new home, we hosted several Christmas parties this year. They were all super fun. We enjoyed having all of our family over and especially loved not having to drive home in the snowy weather. The best present our family could get this year was definitely our home, which is barely put together and nowhere near being presentable enough to take photos. Maybe with the new year, and preschool starting again, I can get some things done and post pictures. Brexten's favorite saying is, "I can't believe we have our own house Mom." Along with our fun home, Brexten's favorite Christmas gift was the MarioKart Wii game. We can't seem to get him off it, but that's okay with me since he will have plenty to do next week with school. Kembrie's favorite gift is her baby dolls, complete with crib, bouncer, stroller, feeding bottles, and clothes to dress them up with. My favorite memories this Holiday season were KJ and Brex dressed up as Mary and Joseph, Karen my sister visiting us (and newly pregnant), Girls Night Out in SLC with my friends, and a rocking New Year's Eve Party in Herriman at Kami's new home. I am so thankful this time of year for all the love and support I get all year long from my family and friends. There is nothing better than being able to spend time with them and make fun Holdiay memories.
